CALL FOR PAPERS

Biometric measurements are acquiring paramount importance in many security and medical applications, not only from a theoretical point of view but also from an industrial perspective. The 5th IEEE Workshop on Biometric Measurements and Systems for Security and Medical Applications (BIOMS 2014) aims to present and discuss various technological, methodological and application issues in areas concerning, but not limited to, advanced sensors, signal processing techniques, patter recognition approaches, systems and applications.

Papers are solicited on all aspects of biometric measurements and systems, specifically for security and medical applications. All submissions must clearly present the novelty of their work, and report results on publicly available databases when possible.

The authors of selected papers may be invited to submit an extended and enhanced version to IET Biometrics.

Submission of abstracts: 27 June 2014 13 July 2014
Notification of acceptance: 20 July 2014 8 August 2014
Final manuscript: 31 August 2014 7 Semptember 2014
